Certificate of Insurance – How does it work?
Efficiently manage the certificates of insurance for your staff
The Certificate of Insurance app (COI) reduces the administrative burden of credentialing by helping you efficiently collect, manage and then securely store the certificates of insurance for your team. The app monitors the insurance status of practitioners and alerts you to any changes. For practitioners insured with Avant, the app also automatically updates their insurance status at renewal time.
Use PracticeHub to simplify your certificate of insurance collection
Create a profile for the practitioner.
Add the practitioner's Ahpra registration number and date of birth to their profile.
Activate their certificate of insurance record.
Send a pre-formatted email to the practitioner requesting they upload their insurance details to PracticeHub.
If they are an Avant insured practitioner for their permission to share their Avant insurance data with you in PracticeHub. This only needs to be done once and then the practitioner never has to worry about it again!
Receive alerts when the data is added or the status changes.
